Creating Galleries

Ok for CK and you, here is how to create galleries.

Log in and go to the Dashboard. Scroll down to the “Gallery” option, mouse over it and then select “Manage Galleries”.

You will get this page.

This lists the galleries we currently have on the site. Note: not all of them show up on the gallery page. You can create galleries and only link to them in certain posts or pages if you want.

To look at a particular gallery, mouse over the title or the gallery, then click Edit.

You’ll get the gallery’s page. This is the “Webcam3″ page:

Now I don’t know half of what these different boxes let you do, lol, but you will most likely want to create and upload pics to a new gallery.

Go back to “Gallery” tab on the left hand side of the Dashboard, and then click “Add Gallery/Images”. You will get this page.

From here you can either create a new gallery or add pictures to existing galleries.

If you click the down arrow to the right of “Create a New Gallery”, you can see all of the other galleries. Clicking one of those, opens it and allows you to add new photos to that gallery.

If you want to create a new gallery, type the name you want to use into the open box, then click “Add Files” to open your hard drive. Add each picture you want to put in the gallery. Once you have them all, then click “Start Upload”.

The link to the new gallery is the littleredbunny dot com url then “/name of gallery”.

I usually put a thumbnail in the link, like I did for the “My Pictures” page. You can see the code if you go to that tab, then click “Edit Page” on the top toolbar (while logged in to the site) and select the Text option (in Visual/Text) to see the code.

Here you can see the link and thumbnail image code, as well as the h1 and span style color I used for the bigger headers.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
